SEPAM is a research and application center operating under the roof of Antalya Bilim University. The aim of SEPAM is to examine and investigate various social, economic and political issues that emerge at national and international levels with an interdisciplinary approach and to inform the university and the whole society with the studies to be carried out and various activities to be carried out on these subjects, to contribute to the development of international cooperation and information sharing networks by bringing together national and international institutions and organizations operating in these issues, to provide sectoral and academic education opportunities and to support international dialogue and cooperation.
To organize conferences, symposiums, workshops, seminars and similar activities at national and international levels regarding the main areas of activity of the Center, social, economic and political issues; to prepare and carry out programs, vocational courses and certificate programs in social, economic and political fields in the in-service training of employees belonging to different sectors; to cooperate with national and international, official or private institutions and organizations operating in the subjects of interest in line with the purpose of the Center, to organize joint studies, to prepare application and research projects, to provide resources for these projects and to implement projects and/or to follow up their implementation; a library suitable for research in social, economic and political fields at national and international levels and To create archives, to establish a national and international electronic communication network, to prepare periodical and indefinite publications of the Center; to encourage academics working within the university and graduate and doctoral students to conduct research in the social, economic and political fields at national and international levels and to closely follow the social, economic and political developments that have emerged at the national and international levels and affect Turkey and its nearby region, and to inform the relevant parties and the public by making comprehensive evaluations on these issues.
