On March 21, 2025, the Findings Workshop of the TÜBİTAK 1001–funded project entitled “The Cultural Foundations of Foreign Policy: A Cross-National Quantitative Study Using an Original Dataset” was successfully held.
The workshop aimed to evaluate and discuss, within an academic framework, the quantitative research findings obtained during the course of the project. Within this context, the original dataset developed to explain the cultural dimensions of foreign policy was introduced, and findings based on cross-national comparative analyses were presented to the participants.
The project is coordinated by Assoc. Prof. Işıl Cerem CENKER ÖZEK and Assist. Prof. Burak Toygar HALİSTOPRAK. The workshop brought together academics and researchers specializing in the field, who engaged in in-depth discussions on the role of cultural variables in foreign policy analysis.
The Findings Workshop not only made the academic contributions of this interdisciplinary project more visible but also provided an important platform for discussion on the use of quantitative methods and original datasets in foreign policy research.
