The SEPAM Adolescence Awareness Event Workshop was convened on December 5, 2025, at Antalya Bilim University to deliberate on the scope and organizational details of the event, which is planned to be implemented during the Spring 2026 semester under the coordination of SEPAM. The workshop brought together faculty members from the Antalya Bilim University Faculty of Health Sciences, the Department of Psychology, and the Department of Gastronomy who provide academic support for the event, as well as Mr. Arif AYDENİZ, Branch Director of the Döşemealtı District Directorate of National Education, Mr. Şefik SOYKAN, Principal of Yusuf Ziya Öner Science High School, and Mr. Recep SEMİZ, School Counselor at Yusuf Ziya Öner Science High School.
The primary objectives of the Adolescence Awareness Event are to enhance awareness of the adolescence period, to address adolescents’ psychosocial and physical development through a multidisciplinary framework, and to strengthen cooperation between educational institutions and universities. During the workshop, stakeholders engaged in comprehensive deliberations regarding the content, structure, and organizational framework of the planned event. In line with the views and recommendations of all participating stakeholders, the planning of the event, which is designed to span ten weeks during the Spring 2026 semester, was finalized.
The workshop was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Işıl Cerem CENKER ÖZEK, Director of SEPAM; SEPAM Executive Board Members Prof. Dr. Yusuf Mehmet ÖRNEK, Dr. Murat KAPLAN, and Dr. Dicle KORKMAZ; in addition to the aforementioned representatives of the Döşemealtı District Directorate of National Education and Yusuf Ziya Öner Science High School. Academic staff members from Antalya Bilim University who support the event and participated in the workshop included Dr. Tuğçe ATASAYAR, Dr. Sinem Asena SEL, Dr. Münevver ERKUL, Dr. Merve GÖLCÜK, Dr. Demet KARA, Dr. Gizem SARISOY AKSÜT, and Dr. Çağla McKENZIE.
