On 4 December 2025 and 18 December 2025, SEPAM organized Antalya Bilim University Gender Equality Action Plan (ABU-GEAP) Preparatory Workshops.

The workshops aimed to strengthen the University’s institutional policies on gender equality and focused on discussing the scope, objectives, and implementation strategies of the draft ABU-GEAP. Participants exchanged views and recommendations on developing an equitable, inclusive, and sustainable campus at ABU.

The workshop was attended by Assoc. Prof. Işıl Cerem CENKER ÖZEK, Prof. Dr. Sezgin Seymen ÇEBİ, Prof. Dr. Fatma Hülya ŞİMGA, and Assoc. Prof. Gözde TURAN. The participants shared evaluations on the importance of gender equality in higher education institutions, discussed good practices, and drafted action areas to strengthen gender equality at ABU. 

As a result of the workshops, which were conducted in two sessions, significant outcomes were achieved to guide the development of Antalya Bilim University’s Gender Equality Action Plan.
